Give Thanks

 It’s Thanksgiving season! But today’s episode is not seasonal. The material is good year round.

But first, some things I like about Thanksgiving:

  • It is essentially a Christian Holiday – or at least a religious holiday

  • First proclaimed by George Washington

  • Later proclaimed by Abraham Lincoln

  • Declared by Congress in 1941

  • FOURTH THURSDAY in November

  • The Detroit Lions will play – and lose

  • The Dallas Cowboys will play – and win

  • Opportunities.
